CERD was born of a desire to enhance the American youth and family research and program landscape. Our mission is to conduct and foster the development of policies and programs emphasizing each person's inherent strengths to facilitate resilient youth, families and communities. We embrace a collaborative effort with noted individual researchers and practitioners in action-oriented research, evaluation, program and policy development. These individuals come together in the belief that our partnership will directly benefit youth and families.
