Abstract

This major publication examines risk and resilience in Education, suggesting with research that the concept of youth at risk has a range of unintended consequences. Equally important, this article shows how central to Education such programs are, and how resilience or a focus on young people's strengths in program and practice represents a research-based and sound leadership and policy alternative to today's problem remediation school focus.
